  1. I bought a package of new white socks with a light gray design on top of the toe area. My adult children were apalled as they pointed out that the design looks like a swastika. I looked down at my toes, they were right. Now I’m embarrassed to wear these socks without shoes covering them. Darn kids. My socks were just fine until their comment.

    • You could have told them the resemblance was surely coincidental and that the only offensive aspect was that they were probably made by 6 year-old Bangladeshi children, working for a loaf of bread a week.
